About Department Of BioTechnology

The Department of Biotechnology, Faculty of Science, Medi-Caps University was established in the year 2023. The department offers B.Sc. Biotechnology and Ph.D. programs. The department has all the basic infrastructural facilities needed for conducting teaching and research programmes in different areas of Biotechnology. The department strives for quality teaching to facilitate better learning amongst students and to generate nurtured professionals in the areas of Biotechnology.

I feel privileged to head the youngest department of Medi-caps university and welcome you with immense pleasure. The Department has basic infrastructural facilities to meet the requirements for teaching and research in various areas of Biotechnology. The curriculum is designed to provide exposure to multi-disciplinary courses, hands-on training and continuing education. In addition to a wide variety of core and elective courses for undergraduate students, we offer job & entrepreneurship oriented elective courses across curriculum.
